I’m a Business Development Manager at EDUtech Asia, working at the intersection of education, technology and partnerships to create meaningful, long-term value for schools, solution providers, and the wider learning ecosystem. With a background in conference production and content strategy, I bring a deep understanding of what educators care about – and what genuinely drives engagement, relevance and impact. I work closely with partners to help them connect with the right audiences in authentic, purposeful ways. My experience spans strategic relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and translating complex education challenges into opportunities for collaboration. Having spent several years behind the wheel designing high-impact EDUtech Asia, I understand how strong content, clear intent and thoughtful partnerships come together to create outcomes that matter. As Senior Conference Manager for EDUtech Asia, I lead the end-to-end conference production for Asia's premier EdTech conference. I work across stakeholder groups – including educators, policymakers and EdTech companies – to design high-impact events that address the biggest challenges in K–12 and higher education. Key achievements: • Developed and executed multi-track conference agendas that attract 6,000+ educators and EdTech professionals annually. • Recruited 200+ speakers per event, including senior education leaders and Ministry of Education officials. • Built strong relationships with schools, ministries and institutions across Asia, resulting in a growing network of returning speakers and partners. • Collaborated with sales and marketing teams to align content strategy with commercial goals, boosting sponsor value and audience quality.
Key achievements: • Designed and delivered content for EDUtech Asia’s K-12 conference tracks, ensuring relevance to educators’ evolving challenges. • Conducted research interviews with educators across the region to identify pressing pain points and trends, informing agenda design. • Built relationships with school networks, government bodies and non-profits to expand event reach and diversify speaker representation. • Spearheaded the launch of EDUtech Planet Protectors, a student sustainability competition sponsored by Google for Education, spotlighting youth innovation and student voice.
• Analysed organisations and designed their processes and systems to integrate their business models with technology. • Assessed current business states and defined desirable future states and/ or business solutions based on client requirements. • Provided on-site business stabilisation support during hyper-care/ transition periods.
Teaching Assistant for PH8050: A Professional Certificate in Computational Reasoning, a module that teaches adults seeking to upgrade their data literacy skills to remain competitive in the workforce. Similar to GET1050, this module was designed to empower adults — with little to no background in data analysis — to utilize computational thinking methods to approach problems. Held this position with the GET1050 TA position concurrently.
Teaching Assistant for GET1050: Computational Reasoning, a module that teaches students from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at NUS how to utilize computational thinking methods to approach problems, without neglecting the social and ethical issues that emerge in the problem-solving process. Successfully completed the Training Program for Teaching Assistants by the Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning (CDTL) at NUS. - Spearheaded TA training workshops and peer-mentorship programs to train prospective TAs, equip them with the necessary skills to teach effectively, and provide them with support on their teaching journey. - Designed teaching plans, module assignments, and learning activities (e.g.: a card game to facilitate the understanding of coding logic like conditionals and loops). - Led weekly or bi-weekly team meetings to ensure that the TA team is on track and consistently making progress in our goals for the semester.
