Lead country‑level site engagement activities in immunology research, including rheumatology (psoriatic arthritis, Sjögren’s syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis) and gastroenterology (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), fostering strategic partnerships with investigative sites and KOLs. Develop and execute the site engagement strategy, lead the country engagement team, support site selection and engagement activities, and coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with GCO, Medical Affairs, and CROs. Drive short‑ and long‑term strategic planning for key sites, ensuring scientific oversight and alignment with local market dynamics.
Contributed to the guselkumab (TREMFYA®) gastroenterology evidence generation program by providing scientific oversight and collaborating with CROs and investigative sites, including SAE review, for the FUZION (CNTO1959CRD3005) and REASON (CNTO1959CRD3008) studies. Supported database lock (DBL), data review and scientific interpretation, and contributed to the development of the Clinical Study Report (CSR) and the preparation of scientific publications and abstracts for the FUZION study.
Served as Study Responsible Physician for the FUZION study (CNTO1959CRD3005) in Crohn’s disease within the EMEA Medical Affairs organization, with overall scientific ownership of the study. Provided strategic leadership, oversaw patient safety and SAE evaluation, led cross‑functional and CRO collaboration, and ensured the quality, consistency, and compliance of study documentation, including protocol and country‑specific amendments.
Planned and led international adventure travel expeditions, managing end‑to‑end logistics with local partners and delivering immersive, experience‑driven itineraries. Acted as lead guide in remote and cross‑cultural settings, providing continuous traveler support, liaising with local communities, and managing medical and operational emergencies. Led 25+ group expeditions across Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
Main clinical responsibilities (inpatient and outpatient settings): diagnosis and management of a wide spectrum of cutaneous disorders, including malignant and premalignant skin lesions (melanoma and non‑melanoma skin cancers), cutaneous lymphomas, and immune‑mediated inflammatory diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and bullous disorders. Performed dermatologic surgical procedures, including skin biopsies and excision of common cutaneous lesions, with provision of comprehensive post‑procedural care.
Sub investigator in more than 10 international Phase II, III, and IV clinical trials involving monoclonal antibodies and fusion proteins for the treatment of moderate to severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, conducted in compliance with ICH GCP guidelines.
