    Field internship at the Optical Support Maintenance Center (CMSO) of Algérie Télécom – Guelma, focused on the maintenance and troubleshooting of optical fiber communication networks. During this experience, I gained hands-on exposure to: OTDR fault detection and localization (fiber cuts, bends, and signal loss) Fusion splicing techniques ensuring minimal insertion loss Optical power measurement to verify signal quality across the network FTTH (Fiber to the Home) network architecture and deployment TIA-598 color coding standards for fiber identification and organization Basic KPI monitoring and preventive maintenance operations This internship allowed me to connect theoretical knowledge in optics with real-world telecommunications systems and understand how large-scale fiber networks are monitored and maintained to ensure continuous service quality.
