In addition, more than 12 years specific experience in carrying out public procurement activities, international & national tenders, contract negotiations, managing all types of contracts (works, goods, consulting and non-consulting services) and claim management. Strongly adept at handling multiple contracts simultaneously and bringing them to completion in a timely and cost-effective manner. 1- Fayoum Wastewater Expansion Program, Fayoum Governorate, Egypt... Responsibilities include participating in procurement process for the Project Implementation Support and Construction Supervision (PISCS - International J.V) consulting firm, reviewing and approving the procurement strategy of the program and managing all the procurement packages – services, works and goods - financed under the program. Responsibilities also included; preparing tender documents for works & goods financed under the program, monitoring and controlling the performance of PISCS during contract implementation, dealing with all claims received by the Client (HCWW), providing technical support in procurement and contract management to Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and coordinating with the bank to get “No Objection” for all procurement packages. 2- Second Integrated Sanitation & Sewerage Infrastructure Projects (ISSIP2), Rural areas in Sharkyia, Menofyia, Assuit & Sohag governorates, Egypt... Responsibilities included; preparing the Request for Expression of Interest (REOI), Request for Proposal (RFP), participating on evaluation process and contract negotiations for hiring the Project Management Consultant (PMC - International J.V) consulting firm, monitoring and controlling the performance of PMC during contract implementation, providing technical support in procurement & contract management to Rural Sanitation Units (RSUs) and coordinating with the bank in all procurement issues. Responsibilities also included; preparing the RFPs, participating – with RSUs in WSCs - in evaluation process and contract formation of the consulting services for Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC), preparing and updating the procurement plan for 10 works packages / contracts under phase (2), managing the procurement process financed under the loan and dealing with all claims received by the Client (HCWW/WSCs).
Integrated Sanitation & Sewerage Infrastructure Projects (ISSIP1), Rural areas in Gharbia, Behira & Kafr El-Shiekh governorates, Egypt Responsibilities included; preparing the RFPs, participating – with RSUs in WSCs - in evaluation process and contract formation of the consulting services for Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC), preparing and updating the procurement plan for the works packages under phase (1), managing the procurement process financed under the loan and dealing with all claims received by the Client (HCWW/WSCs). Responsibilities included preparing the Request for Expression of Interest (REOI), Request for Proposal (RFP), evaluation process and contract negotiations for hiring the Project Management & Technical Asistance Consultant (PM/TA - International J.V) consulting firm, monitoring and controlling the performance of PM/TA during contract implementation, providing technical support in procurement & contract management to Rural Sanitation Units (RSUs) and finally coordinating with the WB in all procurement issues.
International Leadership Training, Several locations, Federal Republic of Germany Attending and participating in training courses covering the following topics: International Management Competences (3 modules), Management Training (3 modules), Human Resource Development (3 modules) & German language courses (3 levels). The training included also two internships – 2 months each – in the following German firms; (i) Dorsch Consult Wasser und Umwelt GmbH, located in Munich, within the International Cooperation department and (ii) Berliner Wasser, located in Berlin, in the Water Planning department. This training implemented by GIZ – former known as InWEnt – and financed by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, as a component of “Managing Development in the Water Sector” program.
Responsibilities included; preparing structural analysis model, design calculation sheets, preparing Bill of Quantities (BoQs), preparing technical specifications and preparing tender drawings.
