Hello! My name is Taezja Phelan and I am from Dallas, TX. I graduated with a BBA in Finance from SMU Cox School of Business in May 2023. I am a JD/MBA Candidate at SMU Dedman School of Law and SMU Cox School of Business. My family and friends describe me as a very bubbly person who can make anyone laugh. I am very organized, good at staying on task, and am very disciplined in my work. My hobbies include cooking, traveling, and playing with my two dogs.
Research assistant to organic chemistry professor Dr. Buynak. Helped run experiments as well as perform many NMR tests to study the compound once it was created. Worked on compounding carbapenem antibiotics in order to attack gram negative pathogens. Awarded a grant by the University to conduct this research.
