• 18-month program with the opportunity to rotate and gain exposure to the various Business Banking teams. • Rotations: Commercial Banking, Regional and Agribusiness Banking • Daily tasks include shadowing Business Banking Analysts to improve technical and analytical skills whilst working with Relationship Executives to manage and support their portfolio of customers. • Coordinated and hosted Commercial Banking WA’s first Virtual Boardroom Event. The event was held over Microsoft Teams as a Virtual Networking Event for Commercial Banking customers with an Economic Update provided by CBA’s Head of Australian Economics Gareth Aird. • Graduate Strategy Project presented in November 2020 to Business Banking Leaders and Graduate Sponsors: Where could CommSec’s future growth and innovation come from? • Participant in Graduate Development Masterclasses including Janine Garner: It’s Who You Know and Providing Effective Feedback with Johanna Kerrigan. • Qualifications: Tier 2 Compliance – RG146 completed March 2020. Currently working towards completing the Credit Approval Authority (CAA). • Volunteering: Participated in the 2020 BB Graduates Can4Cancer Team, collectively travelling 2,610.2 km and raising $7,728.
• Assisted the Digital Services Team with their increased work flow as a result of the COVID-19 market volatility. • Provided CommSec's customers with support via email to ensure they understood the services, products and processes available to suit their needs and improve their financial wellbeing. • Educated customers on how to place trades into the market, share transfer processes, settlement, applications and general account maintenance queries. • Identified areas of improvement for CommSec procedures and processes and escalated these to senior management. • Identified and flagged concerns and/or potential fraudulent activity. • Adapted written communication skills to answer enquiries from new-to-market investors to sophisticated long-term investors.

• 11-week program working alongside Relationship Managers, Analysts and Account Managers to gain exposure to the Perth Commercial Banking Team. • Completed 3 independent projects for the General Manager, Executive Manager and Team Manager in relation to prospecting for new customers and exploring how the Commercial Team could add value to existing customer relationships. • Attended client meetings, completed credit assurance checks and proficiently used CommSee to set up and maintain accounts, process bank guarantees and complete add/remove authority requests. • Gained exposure to resources and systems such as PD Tools, Equifax Veda Check, IBIS Industry Reports, Products and Process Library (PPL) and Policy. • Selected to represent the 2018/19 Intern cohort and present to 150 people about my Intern experience and the benefits of the program.
