About

I was not supposed to make it, not with 7 visa rejections, 3 school dropouts, and a mental health crisis. But every setback became a turning point. Here is how my story began… Education was meant to be my way out of poverty. I was 5 years old when I earned my first scholarship. My mother used my books to teach my siblings because we couldn't afford more. I dropped out of secondary school due to financial hardship, but returned a year later and completed my studies. I went on to start university, but financial pressure forced me to drop out again. I got a scholarship to study in America, but the embassy denied me a visa five times. Two more refusals followed from other countries. I eventually made it to the UK in 2008 to study, but in the middle of my studies, I had a mental health crisis and spent five months in psychiatric care. When I was discharged, I had to restart life from zero. No money. No job. No stable housing. I couch-surfed with family and friends. I took a job as a construction labourer. At 30, I went back to university as an undergraduate, I was one of the oldest in the class. Over time, I worked my way up from site labourer to project management. From having nothing to owning property. Five years ago, I began sharing my story online, a journey of resilience, reinvention, and rebuilding after setbacks. Today, that story has grown into a 1.3M+ community across platforms. WHAT I DO TODAY ✔ Keynote Speaking For conferences, corporates, schools, and community events on resilience, reinvention, mental health, and social mobility. ✔ Coaching Supporting professionals navigating major setbacks and life transitions. ✔ Storytelling & Personal Branding Helping professionals and young talent communicate their story with clarity and power. ✔ Parent & Youth Programmes Guiding families navigating apprenticeships, university pathways, and confidence building. I have partnered with organisations like Deloitte to support parents and young people through apprenticeship choices and have been featured on the BBC and Channels TV. MY MESSAGE IS SIMPLE Your past does not decide your future. You are not too broken to begin again. If your team, students or community need to hear that message, and learn the tools to rise again, send me a message. I would love to help.
