Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
Senior owner's-side construction and project manager with 15+ years of multi-country delivery across Europe for global brands. Architect by training (MSc), BREEAM AP and TU Delft Circular Economy certified. The work I do best is taking client-side ownership of MEP-intensive, high-design capital projects from feasibility through to operational handover, across several countries in parallel, on programme and on budget. Most of that experience comes from two long stints. At Lucid Motors (2021 to 2026) I ran end-to-end delivery across Norway, Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands, including the Oslo flagship studio inside a protected listed building. At PVH (2013 to 2021) I led the development of 100+ retail CAPEX projects across the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, including Tommy Hilfiger's Florence anchor store in a heritage-listed former monastery, the Grafton Street flagship in Dublin, multiple premium outlet units in Bicester and Kildare Village, and PVH's first BREEAM-certified store in Leeds. What I bring to a project: clear commercial control across budget, forecast and tender strategy. The ability to coordinate design teams, main contractors and specialist subcontractors in heritage and high-design contexts. Multi-jurisdiction statutory experience (Planning Permission, Fire Cert and Disability Access Certificates across multiple European markets). A collaborative working style across Design, Operations, Legal and EHS, and a calm approach to live operational environments. Open to senior client-side and owner's-representative roles across construction, capital projects, retail, workplace and sustainability-led development in Europe. Based in Amsterdam, Dutch citizen, available immediately.
