Main responsibilities were technical support on a Managed Service Provider team. Primary responsibilities were Windows, with some Linux and Mac troubleshooting and administration over both Vmware and Hyper-V infrastructures, as well as Citrix published apps and provisioned virtual services for desktops. Deploying, customizing and maintaining Windows and Linux VMs on both physical and hypervisor setups. Duties included support and maintenance of Windows server 2008R2 through 2022 both virtual and physical. SentinelOne Endpoint Security. Coordination with development and engineering teams to plan for application installs/upgrades and security patching. Monitor, isolate and troubleshoot logged events. Provide third level support to junior and mid-level systems administrators. Projects included: - Troubleshooting various server and application issues with Windows and Linux servers on various hardware platforms, including VMs. - Service ticket management for helpdesk issues using ConnectWise. - Office 365, Intune and Azure management and troubleshooting. - Customizing Citrix, including published apps/desktops over NetScaler and Provisioning PVS. - Modify custom hardware and application settings for individual VMs and physical servers. - Manage and administer upgrades and optimizations to newer applications (SW&HW). - Server and network systems monitoring using third party applications. - Deploy BitLocker encryption via GPO. - Using Powershell to create and modify Exchange user accounts in bulk as well as create and modify Virtual Machines in Hyper-V. - Using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) to deploy Task Sequences for application and OS installs. - Windows 7 to Windows 10 upgrades using SCCM.
