Responsible for the corrective and preventive maintenance of instrument and control system for 560 MW power plant that includes the following systems and equipment: -3 x General Electric 9E Gas Turbines (125MW) - GE Mark VI e Speedtronic Control System -1x Steam Turbine (185MW), 3 Boilers (HRSGs) & BOP- Emerson Ovation DCS -Natural Gas Compressor and Water Treatment Plant- Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC Provide startup support after planned outage or breakdown Plan maintenance activities including turnarounds / shutdowns jobs within available time and cost targets and without any non-compliance to K-Electric Health, Safety and Environment policy Managed numerous CI(Combustor Inspection) and HGPI(Hot Gas Path Inspection) of gas turbine and steam turbine rotor replacement shutdown Troubleshoot faults, carry out root cause analysis and write down technical reports Identification of instrument and control system vulnerable assets and carry out improvement projects to improve plant reliability and availability Estimate cost of projects and prepare annual CAPEX budgets and provide justification Develop control system and instrumentation functional design specification for capital projects and review vendor bids in conformance to engineering standards and project specification Follow and implement management of change(MOC) procedure for plant improvement projects Design, install and commission capital projects and ensure conformance to quality standards, timelines, budget targets and project specification Prepare work scopes, contract documents and possess outstanding skills in contractor management Ensure availability of critical spares to meet business objectives Development of maintenance procedures for equipment to ensure consistent and safe operation Ensures effective utilization of computerized maintenance management system (SAP) in order to keep track of all maintenance activities
