My name is Syed Waqas Ahmed and I have been associated with Insurance & Takaful industry for 9 years now. I have worked in three different companies in different departments to develop my organizational and operational skills. I am currently working in TPL LIFE INSURANCE LIMITED (WINDOW TAKAFUL OPERATIONS) as Head of Takaful - Group Family/Health Takaful Operations also acting as a bridge between individual & corporate sales personnel, accounts & finance, IT, actuarial services department, claims department & corporate agency. Along with this I am also supervising conventional operations. I have experience related to all operational activities. In PAK-QATAR FAMILY TAKAFUL LIMITED, I was leading a team in Group Health Operations Department where we used to deal with legal, financial & Operational activities of 500+ corporate companies in Pakistan. In KASB MODARABA, I had an opportunity to launch Pakistan’s first NBFI (Non-Banking Financial Institutions) which was specially designed with sharia compliant takaful products.
