Conducted power system simulations studies to analyse DER impact and evaluate its implication on KE Grids. Identification of technical issues that KE is experiencing because of renewable energy injection and suggest proactive strategy to counter any future network inconsistencies affecting network health. Evaluate Technical loss analysis on distribution network through identification of target population & sample selection and identify mitigation actions accordingly. Conducted Grid wise Short-circuit analysis to establish baseline for Network Engineering team to identify reliable & efficient equipment for power distribution network. Conducted Power Quality & Harmonics Analysis drive and devise corrective & preventive actions based on RCA against the network related issues such as voltage variations, transients, nuisance tripping and any other abnormal network behaviour identified either by the field staff, consumers or through the desktop analysis. Implemented Data Analytics and Business Intelligence tools based on Smart Meters /AMI data to help taking informed decisions on transformer/feeder load management, integrated resource planning, distribution system planning and evaluation through analysing overall consumption profile of various customer categories.

- Distribution Network Rehabilitation Project. 1. To increase efficiency and reliability of Network through technological implementation. 2. Add resilience in Network via technical improvization. - Conduct energy audits as per ISO 50001 Energy Management System for commercial and industrial consumers of KE, that has led to 5 MW energy optimization, 1200 kVA release of KE capacity, and financial savings identified worth PKR 2 million. • Assist in in-house implementation of ISO 50001 Energy Management System through surveys at KE Generation stations, Transmission and Distribution systems. • Prepare detailed energy audit report and findings, along with a thorough financial payback analysis to the auditee. • Liaison and coordination between utility consumers and energy efficiency (EE) vendors for energy efficient transformation to lighting, HVAC, solar, and power factor.
• Assist in design & execution of KNX lighting control/automation project in Lucky One Mall and Nishat Emporium Mall. • Assist in design & execution C-Bus lighting control & automation system in Movenpick Hotel Karachi and conference rooms for various commercial and industrial offices. • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain salient energy efficient product features to clients. • Liaison with technical teams for installation of system. • Coordination with electrical consultants, contractors and architects for smooth project execution. • Prepare monthly sales report for a detailed market positioning of the product. • Facilitation of home automation system through ULTI zig bee lighting control in many residential units.
• Organize and manage electrical maintenance routine servicing schedules. • Correspondence with corrective and preventive team in case of equipment breakdowns. • Maintaining documents of machinery and SOPs of Electrical Complains Departments. • Analyze the Electrical Power system through ETAP; facilitate with load balancing and reduction of harmonics in power systems. • Lead the company-wide energy efficiency policy on lighting, and headed the lux study with transformation of CFL to LED.
