- Created Renata's Business Development Team for Novel Compounds and 505B2s - Launched 27 new Branded Generics in Bangladesh - Led Renata's COVID-19 Response and directed the company through the crisis. - Grew Renata's total sales by more than 15%, from 2020 Q1 to 2021 Q1 - Lead the creation of 3 New Sales Teams, focussing on Neurology, Respiratory and Cardiology - Created Renata's DataScience Team, which successfully built and implemented multiple platforms to digitise Renata's sales operations.
• Provided market drivers of frontier and emerging market generic pharmaceutical industries and conducted equity research on companies with market capitalisations greater than 500 million USD. • Wrote the primary case study for an active investment, into a public generic pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh as a part of Kingsway’s emerging and frontier market portfolio. In the process projected the firm’s potential sales growth, profitability and relative market share in the top 5 pharmaceutical sub-segments of Bangladesh and overall market share. • Forecasted impact on gross margins of top 4 generic pharmaceutical firms in Bangladesh due to raw material price volatility in China. • Analysed the US Generic Pharmaceutical Export market for Indian and Bengali pharmaceutical firms, specifically assessing barriers to entry, market competitiveness (accumulative share of market leaders) and potential impact on P&L accounts upon entry. • Opened initial channel with a financial-technology company as a potential target for Kingsway Capital’s Technology Based Business Fund
The Science Entrepreneur Club is an organisation that works to build the biotechnology start-up ecosystem in the UK. My responsibilities include: - Connect early-stage start-ups to our network, as well as connecting start-ups to VCs interested in seed investments. - Publish articles on disruptive companies and emerging trends within the life sciences space.
One of 8 students selected to participate in a 6-week course with Venture Capital Funds in London. The course involves interactive sessions with VC employees on valuation, basics of start-up evaluation and capital-raising.
• Created and launched Momenta, a personalized marketing and sales force platform that allows pharmaceutical sales representatives to be trained through an android application for Renata Limited. • Created Momenta after identifying that the promotion procedure to health care professionals was inefficient. Momenta, ensures pharmaceutical sales representatives maximize their interaction with their clients and provides incentive based learning programs. • Directed to 1500 users on a daily basis through organizing specialized workshops that highlight its user experience.
