I received my Master's in Ruminant Nutrition looking at the interaction of backgrounding systems and implant use on growing calf performance as well as daily versus three times a week DDGS supplementation on grazing calves. I grew up on a cow/calf operation in Northwest Iowa and quickly became passionate about the beef industry. Along with cattle, I have a strong passion for the equine industry. I strive to use my experience and knowledge to help producers be efficient in producing beef.
