About

Recent graduate from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Retailing and Consumer Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.94 GPA. Passionate about retail operations, asset protection, leadership development, and consumer strategy, with experience spanning retail management, academic mentorship, financial services, and student leadership. Beginning my post-graduate career with Target Corporation as an Executive Team Leader of Asset Protection in Orange County, California. During my internship with Target, I gained hands-on experience leading Asset Protection teams, analyzing operational trends, supporting shortage reduction initiatives, conducting investigations, and contributing to business decisions in a fast-paced retail environment. Throughout college, I balanced academics with extensive leadership and professional involvement. At the University of Arizona SALT Center, I provided over 600 hours of individualized academic support as a CRLA Certified Tutor and Advanced Tutor, mentoring students with diverse learning needs while also training newer tutors. I also served as a Teaching Assistant for Retail Accounting courses within the College of Agriculture, Life & Environmental Sciences. In addition, I served as a CALES Ambassador representing the Norton School of Human Ecology and as a member of the Student Advisory Board for the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing, helping organize recruitment events, networking opportunities, workshops, and student engagement initiatives. My experiences also include studying abroad in Barcelona through the Institute for American Universities, which expanded my global business perspective and understanding of international retail and consumer behavior. Additional professional development includes experience with customer service leadership, financial services training with New York Life, and certifications in retail operations, insurance, and customer experience strategy. Honors include Outstanding Senior for Retailing and Consumer Science, the Outstanding Senior Exceptional Academic Performance & Perseverance Award, Dean’s List with Distinction, and the NRF Rising Star Scholarship. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue an MBA while continuing to grow as a leader within the retail industry.
