I’m a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Cutaneous Oncology Department at Moffitt Cancer Center, where I manage complex oncology trials with a focus on intertumoral injection studies. My role spans patient coordination, regulatory compliance, sponsor communication, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure trials run smoothly while keeping patient experience at the center of everything I do. Before transitioning into clinical operations, I worked in translational breast cancer research in Dr. Brian Czerniecki’s lab, where I developed skills in animal models, cell culture, and immunology assays. I contributed to projects advancing dendritic cell–based immunotherapies, which led to co-authorship on peer-reviewed publications in Cancer Immunology Research and Expert Opinion on Therapeutic Targets. What excites me most is bridging the lab and clinic—translating discovery into patient impact. I’m passionate about refining workflows, supporting patients through their trial journey, and building toward a future career at the intersection of clinical research and translational science.
• Managing data entry, query resolution, and source document verification for multiple oncology clinical trials, ensuring accuracy, protocol compliance, and adherence to regulatory and sponsor requirements. • Coordinating with investigators, CRCs, and multidisciplinary teams to track patient milestones, maintain study timelines, and support successful audits and monitoring visits. • Streamlining data workflows and tracking systems to improve efficiency, reduce query turnaround time, and maintain high-quality datasets across concurrent studies.
• Manage oncology clinical trial data, including multiple intertumoral injection protocols, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GCP, IRB, and sponsor requirements. • Review and abstract clinical, pathology, and radiology data from EMRs to support timely and accurate data entry into OnCore CTMS and RAVE for industry and cooperative group trials (e.g., SWOG Cancer Research Network). • Independently perform data entry, verification, and query resolution while collaborating with study teams to maintain protocol compliance and data integrity. • Coordinate with sponsor monitors and national research networks to support database locks, interim analyses, and audit preparation activities. • Meet regularly with assigned RDCs to address data queries, align on resolution strategies, and support consistent, high-quality data management across studies.
• Took initiative to create SOP's (standard operating procedures) without managerial direction. • Created calendars to effectively schedule projects and upcoming models so all employees could see the workload distribution and timelines of any current and future projects. • Maintained accurate records of all research activities and helped generate biweekly progress reports on ongoing models. • Led the development of comprehensive research reports to present findings in a clear, concise manner including the presentation of data and protocols using various design programs. • Trained colleagues on new methods while doing independent research on streamlining current research protocols.

• Assisted teachers in planning and delivering lessons to students, ensuring the curriculum was followed. • Created individualized goals for students during one-on-one consultations as a mentor and helped inspire them to achieve their personal goals. • Demonstrated strong organizational skills by managing student records, preparing materials for activities, and planning individualized mentoring sessions. • Organized events and off-site excursions for students while making the most of a set budget.
• My undergraduate research was focused on the effect of media from human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSC’s) on umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) and the analysis of the exosomes, extracellular vesicles, miRNA, proteins, and DNA within the media. • Designed experiment independently with minimal supervision from the project design, end goals, and budget. • Utilized effective communication and presentation skills to pitch my research proposal for approval as well as train incoming researchers. Mentored by Dr. Pavan Rajanahalli, Professor of Biology at University of Tampa
• Utilized my extensive customer service skills to resolve any issues and ensure all patrons felt taken care of and received their desired experience • Trained in basic salesmanship skills as well as technical skills such as utilization of POS systems and cash registers • Praised by my managers for my personality, charisma, and genuine regard for all guests and their dining experience which put me in consideration for a training position for incoming Darden employees
