With over 15 years of experience in environmental finance, I have developed and implemented innovative policies, strategies, and projects across various domains, such as forestry and biodiversity conservation, REDD+, valuation of ecosystem services, renewable energy, and waste management. I have also gained sound knowledge and expertise in the international carbon credit trading and markets, as well as green bonds and other financing mechanisms. As a founder of Iora Ecological Solutions, a mission-driven advisory and project development group, I aim to enable sustainable development in India and beyond by promoting ecosystem conservation and low carbon technologies through customized financing and distribution models. I am also an active member of various global and national platforms and initiatives, such as VCMI, 1t.org, World Economic Forum, and the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, where I contribute to shaping the nature-positive economy and addressing the climate crisis.
