    Currently in that interesting career chapter that is often only talked about in hindsight, once the next role is secured and the "learning" can be confidently claimed. A period of mixed emotions and intentional growth, traveling, reconnecting with old friends, and deliberately putting myself into beginner mode. Learning new things like surfing and riding a scooter in Indonesia. The challenge is not the activity itself, but starting from scratch, failing and continuing anyway. Equally important has been the less visible work, creating space to reflect, reassessing what I actually want next, and navigating rejection. A humbling but clarifying process that builds resilience and perspective. Present in this phase, because change is the only constant and growth rarely happens without it. Also appreciating that LinkedIn now even offers a category for “career break”while questioning what happens if I do not want to fit neatly into a box.
