Hey,👋 I am Swagger Sharma, and my real name is Shivam Sharma. I’m an engineer (as per my degree 🤪) I have always been a big fan of cinema since my childhood, and I watched almost every movie that released in theatres during my college time. The stardom of Bollywood is always phenomenal. During my college life, I saw the wave of the internet and YouTube, and many people like me started YouTube and attending college fests and being cheered by the crowd. It gave the actor inside me a reason to start, and in the last year of my engineering, I decided to give YouTube a try. 1st Video – Decent Response 2nd Video – Decent Response But in all this, I started enjoying the process of writing scripts and making videos. From the start, I wasn’t focused on monetizing I knew YouTube was a long-term game, and I was committed to the process. And touch wood, that was also a blessing for me at that point in time. My 3rd video, “IIT Wali Girlfriend,” was 8 minutes long, and at a time when most YouTubers were creating 2-minute clips. I believed in storytelling and knew that the effort would pay off. After graduating, I moved to Bangalore for a job, but my passion for YouTube kept me going. After work, I'd edit my videos with black coffee in hand. Then one day, I decided that if my 3rd video gets 50,000 views in 24 hours, I will resign. I uploaded that video with all my heart, and the universe heard me out. The next day, I came to the office, opened my YouTube, and it was almost 16 hours since I uploaded the video. Guess what? That video got 52,000+ views exactly at that moment. I packed my bag, left the office without even a second thought, or telling anyone. It all started with a try in my last year of engineering, and after 8 years, it looks something like this: 📌 170 Videos 📌 7.4 Million Subscribers 📌 1 Billion Views and counting… Remember, I told you at the start of my introduction that Swagger from 2017 liked creating stories, and now Swagger in 2025 has created 6 web series till date. I believe in doing what you love with all your heart. If you have a dream, go after it with everything you've got. That's the mantra that has guided me from my college days to now, and it’s what continues to drive me forward.
