As digital lead in the Renewable Energy business of ENGIE, I am lucky to be on the front line of the transition to a carbon free world. Digitalization is key to serve customers looking to manage their energy bill, and to develop and operate wind farms and solar sites. Data analytics, digital innovation and drone inspections are put into practice here. I love to co-create the vision for the future of ENGIE. We then develop the IT programs and projects to support this vision, with a team of internal and external partners. Through my 20+ years at ENGIE, I have built a wide experience in project and program management.
My mission is to select and deliver global digital & IT solutions that enable the hypervision, control, operations and maintenance of the Wind, Solar and Battery sites of ENGIE Renewables Global Business Unit.
I lead a team of 25 people during a transition period where Equans is split and the new ENGIE organization is implemented. Together, we take the responsibility to organize the split activities, to manage infrastructure changes, to increase the level of cybersecurity, to support the Global Business Units and many more. Our mission is to support and enable the business to reach its targets.
The Renewables business in Belgium has a fast growing portfolio of Wind and Solar farms, that is supported by a team of Business developers, Construction managers, Asset managers and Operations. My role was to support the business in the different phases of the life cycle of a renewable asset. Special focus was on Operations, where software solutions and data analysis enable higher availability and better performance. Through specific projects, the digitalization strategy was put into practice.
I initiated from scratch the program Mobile that has transformed the business operations of Netmanagement (currently ORES and Fluvius). In an era where the first iPhone was released and tablets did not yet exist, we equipped field technicians with a ruggedized laptop to complete work orders. This was digital transformation in 2007. The main success factor was an extra-ordinary team of more than 30 people.
I managed the migration factory for liberalization of professional customers in Wallonia and Brussels.
I advised projects on architectural topics and process integration in Energy Market liberalization.
I supported SAP Processes in Electrabel Generation
I was responsible for maintenance projects and maintenance strategy in a plasticizer production unit.
