Fractional CTO, enterprise technology leader, and founder of Flow Intelligence. For more than twenty years I have helped organisations navigate the intersection of technology, delivery, operations, and organisational change across enterprise, government, startup, and highly regulated environments. My experience spans Microsoft cloud and consulting leadership, enterprise architecture, platform modernisation, AI and machine learning, delivery transformation, integration strategy, and large-scale technology programs. Throughout that time I have observed a consistent pattern: Technology challenges are rarely technology problems alone. They are often symptoms of deeper organisational conditions involving visibility, decision-making, coordination, delivery flow, operational capability, and the ability to adapt. Today my work focuses on helping leaders better understand organisational reality and improve their ability to deliver, operate, and adapt in a digital world. As a Fractional CTO and strategic technology advisor, I work with founders, executives, and leadership teams to: • Align technology strategy with business direction • Improve delivery confidence and operational visibility • Strengthen technology and platform capability • Reduce organisational friction and coordination drag • Modernise operating models for cloud, data, and AI-enabled enterprises • Build the foundations required for sustainable growth My approach combines systems thinking, enterprise technology leadership, delivery experience, and operational pragmatism. I am particularly interested in how organisations make customers, work, information, decisions, and capability observable so leaders can make better decisions with greater confidence. Technical foundations include cloud architecture, distributed systems, AI and machine learning, integration platforms, delivery engineering, observability, and enterprise platform strategy. Current areas of focus include digital organisational performance, operational intelligence, enterprise operating systems, delivery effectiveness, AI readiness, and helping organisations prepare for an increasingly AI-mediated future.
Flow Intelligence provides Fractional CTO, enterprise technology strategy and enterprise operating systems advisory services helping organisations improve how technology, delivery, governance and operational decision-making work together. The core premise is simple: Modern enterprise outcomes are determined by the operating system beneath the organisation - not by individual technologies, frameworks or transformation programs. This becomes increasingly important as organisations seek to adopt AI, automation and data-driven decision-making, often without the operational visibility, delivery capability and organisational foundations required to absorb them effectively. Flow Intelligence works with executives and technology leaders to improve enterprise adaptability, delivery effectiveness, operational visibility and AI readiness through better operating system design. A core focus is helping leaders make organisational reality more visible by improving how customers, work, information, decisions and capability are observed, understood, measured and evolved in alignment with market needs and organisational outcomes. Areas of focus include: • Enterprise operating model evolution • Operational intelligence and delivery systems • Technology and platform strategy • Enterprise architecture and integration strategy • Governance-aware transformation • AI readiness and organisational capability uplift The objective is not transformation theatre, but measurable improvement in how organisations sense, decide, adapt and deliver.
