I've spent 16 years making children's books look like they deserve to be on a shelf — and stay there. That is my core expertise. At Penguin Random House India, I lead design across four verticals, Penguin Tattva, Select Learning (children books), Classics, and Licensing — 150+ titles a year. Before that, seven years at DK India, designing licensed books for third party licensors like Disney and Lego alongside our London counterpart teams. I balance creative vision and commercial reality. I know what makes a cover stop a child mid-aisle and content paired with beautiful illustrations that children remember long after. I also know how to build and lead teams and workflows that make great design functional — and lately, faster. I use ChatGPT Enterprise, DALL-E, and Adobe Firefly as everyday tools: for trend research, cover concepting, illustration briefs, and production. Not as shortcuts — as accelerators. I believe that AI should be used for getting faster to reach the product stage.
