Dolphin caretaker at the Lagoon, part of a dedicated team responsible for the daily care, training, and enrichment of 14 bottlenose dolphins of varying ages and both sexes. Working closely together with the veterinarians to ensure the best care
Zookeeper at the savanna department. Worked with giraffes, zebras, camels and other hoofstock. Responsible for their diet, daily care and overall wellbeing, enrichment and habitat maintenance. Coordinated a new training protocol for husbandry, introducing cooperative care with the giraffes.
Animal caretaker at shelter, kennel and daycare departments. Main task and responsibility included training and (re-)socialising animals so they can be adopted.
Started in January 2017 as an animal care intern at the tropical house department and stayed active as a volunteer, during short-handed periods.
Participated in husbandry and dynamic training sessions.
