As a member of the ASCP Blood Bank Board of Certification, we review and write new questions (item bank) for the ASCP certification exams for MLS, MLT, BB and SBB. The BB and SBB certifcations are also granted in recognized and approved by the AABB. The committee writes the appropriate examination content outlines.
Manager of a Centralized Transfusion and Donor Service serving 3 hospitals and 5 transfusion services. We are AABB, FDA and CAP accrediated. Operate blood donor rooms in two locations including a whole blood and platelet pheresis program. Actively involved in a Blood Management Program. Serve as a Lead assessor for the AABB and sit on the ASCP BOC blood bank committee.
