About

When people experience trauma or severe life stressors it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My passion is bringing healing to those who have been through traumatic / stressful life events. I help my clients, who include adults, couples, and families to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, content, whole, and safe. I know that no single method is right for every individual, so I call upon the various techniques in which I have been trained. No matter if I utilize interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Behavioral Activation Therapy, Mindfulness, Compassionate Communication, or other methods, the goal is to help my client come to a place of living a safe, healthy, and fulfilled a life as possible. My educational background includes an MA in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. I have a PhD in Family Relations and Child Development as well as a Graduate Certification in Gerontology from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. I also hold an MEd in Adult Education / Gerontology and BS in Computer Science / Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK.
