I am curious and enjoy digging up and combining information. The more information I get my hands on, the better I understand the details. I currently work in the IT team of the Helsinki Biobank and collaborate closely with the laboratory. The core of my work is planning, development and problem solving. I am also involved in shift planning and occupational health and safety activities. I am also interested in artificial intelligence and related regulation. My work includes, for example, mining data related to samples and producing files and reports from it (data visualization). Troubleshooting problems related to message traffic and the laboratory's data management system. Development, changes and testing of the laboratory information system. I will do some data transfers and coordinate the collection of samples to be removed. I enter information into the Koodistopalvelu. I compile a monthly newsletter with my occupational safety partner regarding workplace well-being issues. I collaborate a lot with different teams. In my previous position as a laboratory manager, I was responsible for the operation and development of the biobank's liquid laboratory. In addition, the work included making purchases and participating in tenders. I also participated in the laboratory's recruitment processes. While working as a laboratory supervisor, I designed and manufactured a cold box for picking samples stored in a deep freezer. I created the basis for the laboratory's autonomous shift planning. I established a white blood cell isolation protocol in the biobank together with an expert. I have also worked as a thesis supervisor. I value nature and enjoy hanging out in the forest. Nature photography is a relaxing hobby. I also relax by drawing patterns. I love puzzles and reading. Exercise is also important to me.
Designing and operating the analytics stack to reach 50,000 verified signatures for a citizens’ initiative to curb corruption. I map the full funnel from social posts to Avoimuuslaki.fi (GA4) and through the redirect to the signing service, attributing each signature to its entry path and reporting the signature conversion rate by source and landing flow. Traffic sources include Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, Bluesky, Reddit, YouTube and on-site Avoimuuslaki.fi articles. Key metrics captured and modeled in Power BI include impressions, reach, video views, link clicks, CTR, engagement (reactions/comments/shares), followers gained, spend, CPC/CPM, and cost-per-signature mapped to GA4 conversions.
