Life is a journey that takes each of us to different stations with new opportunities to learn. My journey so far included stops in different countries and various roles in the non-profit world, including raising funds from individuals, governments and foundations, working with philanthropists to enable them to follow their vision and leading and developing teams and organisations. It also included family management and different volunteer roles as well as an abundance of new learnings formal and informal that I draw from. I mostly journey on foot, running (half-marathon) or hiking long distances, because development and change take time. I learned that movement and being outside - in the woods, fields and mountains, helps you focus and also helps you become more resilient. While resiliency is becoming a buzz-word and, frankly, a bit of a hype I deeply believe that, if we work on our own approaches and attitudes, we become more resilient - and happyier and healthier in life. And if we allow ourselves the time to develop, we have an effect on others as well. I am here to accompany you on your journey and to enjoy the hike!
