Big picture thinking and robust analytics is what I enjoy the most. The research projects that interest me include the efficient use of natural resources (e.g. fossil fuels), climate change mitigation and adaptation, policy and human behaviour. I am leading projects that span the full spectrum of scientific research, science communication and knowledge transfer, and implementation into practical outcomes. I work closely with both public and private sector partners and stakeholders.
Design and conduct high quality and high impact research, manage large scale projects, develop interdisciplinary research teams and address questions of global significance.
The Griffith Institute for Tourism is a world-leading research institute hosted by Griffith University, Australia. The goal is to undertake scientifically robust research that informs decision making for the sustainable development of tourism. The Director role involves setting strategic directions, engaging with key stakeholders and research partners, managing a team of researchers, and deliver outcomes to the University.
