Modern Languages student at the University of Edinburgh, studying French, Spanish and Italian, with strong communication skills and intercultural awareness gained through various roles both at home and abroad. Previous experience includes language tutoring locally, au pairing in Spain and customer-facing roles as a front desk receptionist and swim teacher. I am particularly interested in international and cross-cultural work, combining language proficiency, adaptability and a people-focused approach in both academic and professional settings.
After completing sixth form, began working as a front desk receptionist at Wellington Health and Fitness Club.
Worked as a water helper / assistant swim coach in swimming lessons for children aged 4-10 years old following successful completion of the NPLQ lifeguard course.
Worked as an au pair for a family in Talavera, taking care of a 3 year old and 15 month old. Lived with the family and embraced daily life in Spain, developing intercultural awareness and strengthening my level of Spanish language, simultaneously taking the opportunity to gain further childcare experience.
Completed a weeks work experience as a nursery assistant in a nursery in Adra, Almería, Spain. Worked with children ages 6 mo to 4 years.
