I have over 25 years of experience in civil engineering, project management, and stakeholder engagement, as well as certifications in Stakeholder Centered Coaching and Master Chair from TEC Canada. I am passionate about building communities, partnerships, and sustainable solutions. I help members of TEC Canada, a peer advisory organization of over 1,400 chief executives and entrepreneurs, to grow their companies, make better decisions, and achieve their goals. I also serve as a board member, judge, and mentor for private companies and startups, leveraging my expertise in communication, problem-solving, and adaptive management. Susan Motkaluk lead Southbridge’s Development Division and was responsible for managing Southbridge Care Homes’ redevelopment projects across the province of Ontario, from initial design to completion. Motkaluk brings considerable experience to her role with over twenty years of senior management in building communities across Canada. Motkaluk has garnered global recognition, and her work on the Laurel Creek Watershed Monitoring Program was designated as a Global Good Practice by the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements (1998). This particular project continues to be featured as a case study at higher learning institutions around the world for best practices on sustainable management. Her previous work experience spans both private and public sectors. Motkaluk is adept at designing sustainable development projects, and managing the project from development to completion, working with federal, provincial, municipal and regional groups in order to foster agreement and community support. Motkaluk graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo’s Applied Science program in Civil Engineering and has gone on to publish protocols and curriculum materials on sustainable development and information technology uses. Motkaluk is a long time member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
