Eclectic interests and background having worked in enterprise software for ontologies of knowledge intensive industries such as Bio-Pharmaceutical R&D, drug safety and regulatory; upstream oil and gas exploration and production; defense simulation, training, and war-gaming; electronic sensing and controls and advanced high efficiency turbomachinery. Current interests are in applying learnings from neuroscience on enterprise search, automated construction of institutional knowledge, automatic extraction of metadata from structured and unstructured information and advances in decision support applications.
