Engineering is my creative outlet, allowing me to innovate and develop impactful solutions. My journey has spanned mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and computer science, giving me a well-rounded skill set. Through my involvement with many organizations such as the UCLA Engineering Makerspace and Engineers Without Borders at UCLA, I have gained invaluable experience in project management and team collaboration. Driven by a desire to make a positive impact on my community and the world, I combine my technical expertise with a passion for leadership and innovation to drive meaningful change.
Promote Digikey at on-campus events and workshop at UCLA.
- In addition to prior responsibilities, I manage the schedules of the other technicians - Work as External Affairs Liason to the school of engineering and other organizations that wish to use or work with the space - Maintaining and repairing 3D printers, laser cutters, and various other machines in the space - Keeping inventory and ordering supplies as needed - Improving organization in storage room and tool bins to allow for easier access for staff and students - Designed and implemented the layout of a brand new Makerspace over the course of 2 weeks - Planned and hosted the first-ever Build-A-Thon in Fall 2023 - Worked to improve branding and awareness within the School of Engineering - Supplied over 6000 3D prints and 44,000 printing hours during the 2022-2023 academic year. - Raised over $9,500 during the 2023 senior class campaign - Running staff meetings, laying out goals and visions for the year - Developed a hiring process and oversaw the application and hiring process resulting in doubling the size of our staff - Designed a brand new training curriculum to train new staff
- Oversee the use of $100,000+ of equipment that is free to use for engineering students. - Assists students in the use of laser cutters, vinyl cutters, Prusa 3D Printers, Embroidery machine, and plasma cutter, while repairing faulty machines. - Increase the efficiency of the space by implementing an easier system of keeping track of machine problems.
- Provide campus tours to prospective UCLA Engineering students. - Represent UCLA Engineering at formal events such as banquets, networking events, and social gatherings. - Engage with alumni and donors at various school events
- Engineer in the lithography department overseeing DUV tools for a N4/N5 fab - Built a Python tool to generate heatmaps and charts of repeat defect locations across 10,000+ wafers, enabling precise localization of yield issues and targeted process improvements - Performed root cause analysis of defect patterns affecting 60% of wafers across multiple lithography tools, collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams to identify key hardware and process contributors - Proposed and facilitated implementation of equipment and process parameter changes, resulting in measurable defect rate reduction and improved lithography yield rate
