Founded as a non-profit organisation (ONLUS) in February 2009, Suono e Immagine Association is dedicated to fostering social solidarity through the transformative power of art in all its expressive forms. The association was originally established in 1994 as a cultural initiative, inspired by the artistic and musical research of its President, Lorenzo Porta del Lungo. Over time, this exploration led to a profound understanding of art’s essential role in human growth and development—not just as a means of expression, but as a catalyst for change, cure, and personal transformation. Recognizing this power, Suono e Immagine evolved into a social promotion association with the mission of making music, culture, and art accessible to all. Through artistic and cultural initiatives, education, cure, and rehabilitation programs, it actively engages in areas such as mental health, psychology, pedagogy, environmental awareness, and social well-being. Art is not merely an aesthetic experience—it is a force that can heal, empower, and uplift individuals and communities alike.
