I'm a product designer with a background in Computer Science and Behavioral Decision Science. Currently at MongoDB, where I design AI and search products that help developers ship applications without needing a machine learning background to get started. I'm drawn to problems where existing patterns don't apply and the interaction has to be invented from scratch. My work sits at the intersection of systems thinking, user research, and high-fidelity craft. But the through-line is always the same: get close to how people actually build. I go further than Figma. I prototype in React and Claude Code, and I use the tools developers use, because the best way to understand your users is to work the way they work. Building with AI myself is how I find the pain points no research session would surface. Beyond my core product work, I founded a weekly Search & AI learning series for the design team, mentor women in tech, and speak publicly about how designers can advocate for their work and create real impact. Designing for Vector Search, enabling developers to build semantic search and AI applications. Past projects: - Improved system visibility in search indexes so users can track real-time status updates - Designed a new page to monitor search node migration progress, helping users scale search independently of database needs. - Built a guided, visual index-building experience to make onboarding easier with in-product learning
I co-founded and led the UX/UI design at COAD, an accessibility-focused healthtech venture. We won $10,000 at the 2022 Brown Venture Prize. I designed a mobile app that syncs to a bluetooth-enabled pill box to provide real-time medication tracking and reminders. I worked directly with the other co-founders, mechanical and software engineers to create an MVP.
I led 5 students to create promotional website for the national, annual data-focused hackathon and to connect students with Data Science and Machine Learning related opportunities.
