Been in the hospitality industries for more than 20 years and still enjoying it. Working with a different departmens where I started in Food and Beverages and moved to Recreation where my last position was Recreation Manager before I began my journey in Learning and Development till date n continue loving to story sharing n L&D. My biggest achievement was awarded as Best Employee of the Months n the biggest achievement in Learning and Development was awarded as TDC of the Year 2012 (RVP Award) during my tenure at Sheraton Fullmoon Maldives.
• Execute Policy on Grooming Standard for both property. • Finalize and execute the 2 days Discovery Resort Induction program for newly join team members. • Cofacilitate virtual Essential Skill to Supervisor & Manager (ESSM) with Malaysia Cluster L&D (Marriott) • Execute Living Our Core Values & Teambuilding to all staff • Conduct inhouse training ie Commitment To Clean, Service Culture and Training Skill Workshop (Train the Trainers module) for both properties. • Preparing the Monthly training calendar and report • Arranging external training to be conducted in the resort ie Fire Safety and First Aid, Food Safety in the resort. • Prepare Monthly and Annual training plan • Monitoring guest comment and to prepare and deliver training accordingly to team members. • Assist HR in Employee Relation by champion the Take Care Committees and organizing activities ie team building, Family day and step challenges, oversee associates accommodation, be part of the Associates Survey committee, Main Master of Ceremony (MC) for associates event and be translator during Managing Director speech to Bahasa Malaysia during Townhall
• Oversee Human Resources Department AS Acting HRM for 6 months from June to November 2018 until the new DHR joined in mid November, 2018. • Execute Policy & Procedures, for Departmental Trainers, and Grooming Standard, internship program and assist in execute the Associate Handbook at JA Manafaru, MALDIVES,. • Finalize and execute the 2 days Discovery Resort Induction program for newly join associates. • Conduct inhouse training ie Effective Communication, Train the Trainer workshop, supervisory skills, Telephone Skill, Great Customer Service, The Golden Circle etc. • Preparing the Monthly training calendar and report • Arranging external training to be conducted in the resort ie Fire Safety and First Aid, Finance for non Finance Manager, Food Safety etc. • Prepare Monthly and Annual training plan and annual training budget • Assist HR in organizing activities, associates accommodation, Associates Survey, Quarterly Party and Annual Party etc • Preparing HR presentation for Townhall and Quarterly Party • Master of Ceremony (MC) for Annual, Quarterly Party & Townhall and Resort events ie New Year, Christmas
