Hey, I’m Sumit!!! I’m an NUS Information systems student who loves building cool stuff 🚀, from fintech flows to startups. This summer I was at Gemini Trust Company (the crypto exchange), where I revamped global deposit flows (PayNow, FAST, Wires), shipped 15+ features tied to regulated fiat funding, and wrote 50+ tests so money could move fast without breaking things. Before that, I co-founded PaySync, an AI accounting startup. We signed 4 LOIs (including a tuition chain with 26 branches), launched an MVP and joined Microsoft Founder’s Hub ($5K credits secured). I’ve also built quant trading strategies at WorldQuant Brain, and once ran a student company that grew revenue during COVID and scored the Young Entrepreneur’s Award. Outside work?     As CEO of SANSMI, I led the sale of a comprehensive digital marketing platform that empowered businesses to streamline their marketing and sales efforts. My role involved overseeing all aspects of the company, from strategic planning to cold outreach and direct sales. I worked closely with our team to sell our software using unique selling points such as lead capture tools, multi-channel nurturing systems, and sales pipeline management, ensuring that our platform provided everything businesses needed to grow and convert leads efficiently. In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I actively engaged in hands-on activities like reaching out to potential clients, managing relationships, and spearheading marketing campaigns. I played a critical role in identifying customer needs and continuously improving the product to meet market demands. All in all, although this company did not grow as much as I would wanted it, it left me with priceless practical lessons which I will bring forth to my next venture!
