He has extensive experience in acquiring and managing residential, commercial, mixed use and Industrial assets across India. Sumit specializes in project execution, business development, team management, risk identification & mitigation, financial analysis, commercial deal structuring, due diligence, capital raising, managing fund relationships, business research, legal negotiation & closure, corporate strategy, and international expansion. Sumit currently works as VP & Business Head for Mumbai with Vibe Realty Private Limited, a new-age real estate Development company, with current presence in Mumbai and Pune markets. As the Business Head, Sumit leads the business and P&L for six real estate projects under execution. The role encompasses leading regional cross functional teams for Project Execution (Strategy, Planning, Preconstruction, Legal, Liaison, Design, PMC) and other functions including BD/New Projects acquisition, Relationship building, Systems & Processes & Fund raising. Before Vibe, Sumit worked with Kolte Patil Developers Ltd. (KPDL) , leading land acquisition & Investments for Mumbai & MMR markets & providing support for Pune & Bangalore markets. Prior to this, Sumit was part of Kanakia Group focusing on BD for Mumbai & MMR markets. Sumit was part of Business Development team at Godrej Properties and was responsible for land acquisition for residential, mixed use developments & townships for Pune market. Prior to Godrej, he was part of Strategy and development for Mahindra Group's real estate and infrastructure arm Mahindra Lifespaces, which is a pioneer and leader in integrated business cities and large format developments in India. Prior to his MBA, he has worked with GE Motors India, which was an integral part of GE Industrial systems, USA. Sumit holds an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai, a Masters in Business Laws (MBL) from NLSIU, Bangalore and a BE from PEC, Chandigarh.
