PayPal is changing its Risk Decision System and I get to lead development and deployment of the next generation Risk decision system to business users across the globe. Working with Platform and Technology teams, I am involved in designing and developing real-time large scale analytical software and am responsible for meeting an aggressive timeline of a business-critical project at the same time minimizing execution risk.
Led development and deployment of Risk solutions for PayPal in Latin America by managing a team of analysts with partners across Latin America. I also coordinated onboarding of merchants with Risk solutions, Operations, and Business Unit. I was responsible for dual metrics of loss and transaction approval rate.
Formed and led a multi-location team, working very closely with Technology and Operations to serve an internal customer base located across the globe. Responsible for managing business operations of Risk decisions including introduction of global Risk strategies.
At FICO, I designed and implemented algorithms to detect multiple types of fraud in medical transactional claims for health-insurance providers and to detect provider fraud in pharmacy transactional claims. I also had an opportunity to design and develop algorithms to detect fraud in auto insurance claims. In addition, I undertook a wide range of responsibilities in the product development cycle including product design, requirements specification, quality assurance. I also acted as client contact person for various products for four clients.
