•Interned as a product and market research intern at the Vivekananda Institute of Leadership and Development, one of the largest NGOs in Southern India, focused on building community development products and initiatives for over 3 million people living in rural communities. •Conducted a market needs assessment focusing on NGOs and MSME (startups/social impact sector) to assess product features and finalize a product roadmap •Designed two new products and their respective go-to-market strategies. Assisted the 25-member team at Citra Lab, a Sri Lankan Social Innovation Lab partnered with the United Nations Development Programme, in researching the implementation of distributed ledger technologies for industries of interest to the Sri Lankan government (i.e. healthcare, elections, small business). Conducted a comparative analysis of the usage of blockchain technology in the European and Nordic public-sector, identifying potential replication in the Sri Lankan public sector. Created database (Microsoft Excel) of international consulting agencies to identify potential partners for Citra Lab’s initiatives. Managed data entry of Colombo residents, digitizing their voter information and analyzed data for select social innovation projects
