I am an Electro-Mechanical Engineer with 7+ years of experience in industrial engineering, specializing in Li-ion battery manufacturing automation, SPM machine troubleshooting, and locomotive maintenance systems. My professional journey includes experience with organizations such as ATL Battery Technology India Pvt. Ltd., Wabtec (GE Transportation), and Tata Motors Ltd. Currently, I work as an ME Engineer at ATL Battery Technology India Pvt. Ltd., where I am responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining SPM machines used in the auto-packing process of Li-ion battery manufacturing. My work focuses on ensuring high machine reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining stable production through effective troubleshooting and preventive maintenance strategies. I have hands-on experience working with servo and stepper motors, pneumatic systems, conveyors, sensors, HMI interfaces, PLC-controlled machines, and Epson robots. My role involves identifying machine faults through HMI diagnostics, PLC I/O monitoring, and electrical/mechanical inspection to quickly restore production operations. In addition to troubleshooting, I actively perform root cause analysis using methodologies such as Why-Why analysis, 5W2H, 8D, and CAPA, helping eliminate recurring failures and improve equipment reliability. I also support preventive maintenance planning, spare parts management, and maintenance data analysis to improve machine availability and achieve production KPIs like downtime reduction and yield improvement. Previously, I worked at Wabtec Locomotive Pvt. Ltd., where I gained extensive experience in diesel-electric locomotive maintenance, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and supporting Post Delivery Inspection (PDI) with the Indian Railways team. Earlier in my career at Tata Motors Ltd., I contributed to assembly operations and technical training initiatives, supporting quality improvement practices such as 5S, Kaizen, FIFO, and 7QC tools, and played a role in achieving Zero Defect Station (ZDS) certification. I am passionate about industrial automation, battery manufacturing technologies, and advanced engineering systems, and I continuously strive to improve equipment performance, process efficiency, and technical problem-solving capabilities. I’m always open to connecting with professionals working in battery manufacturing, automation, and advanced industrial systems.
