Teaching the CS106A course of introductory Python programming language and concepts to students from different parts of the world. It involved creating a general interest about the world of programming and coding and guiding them in selecting and executing a final project. It required me to understand the different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds of each of them and mold the course structure in a way that caters to their needs.
I get to teach the important skills of public speaking to students from middle school and high school on a weekly basis. Some of these concepts involve Speech Structure, Logical Fallacies, Interpreting a Motion, Speaker Roles in different formats of debating, etc.
