Oversee the Group’s tax matters, including corporate tax compliance, withholding tax, tax restructuring, indirect tax, and transfer pricing. Lead the implementation of e-Invoicing and Global Minimum Tax (GMT) across the Group, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Strategically manage tax risks and opportunities to optimize the Group’s tax position while ensuring adherence to tax regulations. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance, legal, and external advisors, to drive tax planning and compliance initiatives. Spearhead tax process improvements and system automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting.
- Preparing and submitting annual corporate tax returns under the Income Tax Act, 1967 for the companies (preparation of tax computation, Form C, Form R and other incentive forms) - Providing Goods and Service Tax (GST) implementation technical support and advice to companies
Preparing transfer pricing documentation for companies of various industries in accordance with the Malaysian transfer pricing regulations.
Providing assistance to the audit team, auditing of dormant and semi-active companies, stock take and statutory auditing.
