Assist with individual clients and nonprofit organizational clients on intake calls and case updates. Conduct legal research on environmental, land use, and natural resources law to assist clients with their discreet issues related to water intrusion, eminent domain, and litigation connected to access to green spaces.
Environmental and Natural Resources Division, Environmental Defense Section: Research and write legal memoranda related to ongoing litigation within the fields of environmental and administrative law, concerning the Administrative Procedure Act and judicial review. Statutes include the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resources Recovery and Conservation Act, and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act.
Create, implement, and execute programs and materials related to EECJ to promote a culture of sustainability, equity, and justice within Temple Law School and the Greater Philadelphia area. - Curated and hosted the 2025 Temple Environmental Justice Conference (March 31–April 3).
Publish National Trends Reports related to litigation developments in climate change coverage actions (Aloha Petro. v. National Union), changes in administrative law (Loper Bright & Chevron), and general insurance issues. Conduct document review of litigation materials for insurance clients to assess potential exposures in coverage actions concerning envt’l clients’ potential coverage under historic comprehensive general liability policies. Compile and evaluate updates concerning ongoing remediation and compliance with regulatory actions in S. CA.
Conducted various environmental education classes to students K-12 and the general public. Topics included native & invasive plants, pollinator and habitat lessons, and bird walks. Curated 2 lesson plans around composting and native plants. Designed and constructed a 30ft x 10ft composting system located in The Discovery Center. Managed groups of volunteers to assist with trail work, pulling invasive plants, and trail restoration.
