  • Infrastructure Transversal Processes (User Identity and Service Delivery) at Solvay

    Simplification of IS Infrastructure service delivery by integrating processes and referential data, including; User identity, business structure, accounts, user profiling and service provisioning. As the process and data reference for Identity Management and Service Provisioning I was responsible to provide accurate data, reliable provisioning and support service delivery. Examination of referential data and implementation then execution of recurring controls enabled anomaly detection which identified corrective actions. Developed KPIs to monitor data quality and effectiveness of corrective actions. Collaborated with other departments for requirements, accuracy and consistency. Defined and managed data transformations to support business organisational changes (Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestments) and IS projects. Represented IS Infrastructure on cross-functional project to optimize user on-boarding process. Represented IS Infrastructure operational requirements on an RFI to evaluate and compare Identity as a Service (IDaaS) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) offerings.

    Responsible for delivery of insourced and outsourced IT infrastructure services including; IP services, authentication, messaging, data centre infrastructure, DMZ, remote access, 3rd party connectivity, global private hybrid network with Quality of Service (QoS) based traffic optimisation and management of public certificates and public DNS records Activities included; incident management, incident communication, problem management, continual service improvement, architectural and service design, delivery process definition and integrating required changes into existing infrastructure to ensure service continuity and reduce business impact but facilitate projects. Risk assessment and security considerations were crucial for successful service delivery. Participation at GRC team led business continuity study covering key application services was a valuable experience. Further contribution to all stages of DRP preparation and testing for; network connectivity, boundary security and Windows application and database servers. The deliverable was recovery tests with application functionality and data validated by application teams. Following the acquisition of Rhodia, ensured delivery whilst contributing to projects to consolidate services. Closed legacy services, architectures and contracts following each successful transfer. A notable experience in 2008 was the integration activities for a project to install an innovative dynamically routed Hybrid Network and the following deployment in 2009.
