About

Experienced Sales Executive, adopting a consultative approach to help clients become more operationally efficient, competitive and disruptive within their markets. Most clients operate in a more complex IT environment than ever, but cloud adoption is moving to its next level of maturity and more ‘legacy’ workloads are being moved to the cloud. This does increasingly require greater levels of infrastructure, applications and service transformation - representing a major opportunity for companies to deliver improved user experiences, accelerate time to market and innovate. Recognised as able to successfully win in complex sales cycles and for the development and leadership of high performing multi skilled teams. Stuart has performed in a range of sales roles and markets, including Business Development, Account Management and Sales leadership. Engagements led in the last 10 years typically range in value from £5m - £30m, largest contract signed at £198m.

      May 2017 - Nov 2021 · 4 yrs 7 mos

Clients are increasingly faced with the challenge of maintaining optimised services in a highly complex IT environment, to support their businesses to deliver rapid innovation at a reduced cost. We work with clients to define the outcomes necessary to deliver the results their business need, then to transform their estates, people and processes to achieve this. Typically these clients have estates that have evolved complexity and now operate physical, virtual, private and public cloud services. We help clients define their future infrastructure services and estate, how to get there and the business case. We then work with them to transform their estate and services, moving to an effective combination of physical, virtual and cloud resources, leveraging optimised platforms, services, tooling and automation. We also provide outsourcing services for those platforms and services.. To leverage the infrastructure, we can also review application estates with clients to produce a clear road map for migration, based on a business case for each application and its recommendation (decommission, migrate, modernise or transform). We deliver via an agile approach and have also assisted clients to adopt such practices as DevOps, CI/CD, testing automation, Infrastructure as Code etc. Key sales engagements led and won have included: Developing the business case (40% Opex Savings) and migrating a clients mission critical legacy applications (part of national infrastructure), tooling, processes and infrastructure from a co-lo location to public cloud, whilst introducing DevOps, CI/CD and Automation. Service transformation, outsource and co-lo provision for a legacy estate to leverage Hybrid IT (physical, virtual and private cloud) and develop service catalogues via ServiceNow, and introduce infrastructure as code. Hybrid IT and Multi Cloud Service processes and tooling transformation to deliver service improvements, automation, cost reductions and scalability.
