I am a Science and Biology educator at Maritzburg College. I am a passionate and motivated sports coach having specialised in Rugby and Cricket over the past 10 years. I am heavily involved in the pastoral side of education, being a deputy housemaster in the day school and a boarder master in the hostel.
Student assistant duties at the junior school boarding house once a week and weekend duty one every three weeks, these duties involved helping junior school (grade 4-7) boys do homework, assisting with school trips. All student assistants were required to coach sport twice a week and to officiate matches on Saturday's. I coached rugby, cricket and athletics during my time as a student assistant. In 2016 and 2017 I held the position of head student assistant in the junior school.
