Stijn is a tax associate at Clifford Chance Brussels advising clients on M&A transactions (with a special focus on the PE and Real Estate sector) and is considered a specialist in (cross-border) corporate restructuring. He represents clients in major tax disputes (with a special focus on anti-abuse and tax fraud litigation). He graduated with a masters degree from the K.U. Leuven (Belgium) and obtained additional master degrees from Georgetown University (USA) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium).
• Training talented students from various universities and backgrounds in Developing crucial skills such as public speaking, debating, negotiating, problem solving and networking. • Partnering with Allen&Overy, McKinsey, Total, Procter&Gamble and Morgan Stanley for sponsoring and support.
• Selected by Harvard University to organize a 5-day student-conference for over 2,000 international college and university students • Setting up and managing a NPO with a budget around $500,000 and staff of over 50 students. • Negotiating, Drafting and Closing financial agreements with the Kingdom of Belgium and several high profile private and public organizations
