I have been working in Health and Safety for 10 years, specialising in warehousing and racking safety. I achieved Grad IOSH status in 2009 after successfully completing my NEBOSH level 6 qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health. I am at present working towards IOSH chartership and am hoping to complete my Initial Professional Development by the end of 2012. I also have an HNC in mechanical and structural engineering and can operate as an engineering technician when required. I achieved my SEMA Approved Rack Inspector qualification in 2005 and was one of the first people in the country to receive this accreditation. I have a wide range of practical health and safety experience in the warehousing and storage industry. I also work in a management and project development role and have experience in managing a range of health and safety and engineering projects. These have included installation management, accident investigation, designing training packages and developing safety management systems. I have experience in managing an office based Technical Department and consultants working in the field. I have a high level of IT literacy and have had responsibility for liaising with IT on a range of technical projects.

Developing and monitoring OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 managment systems.
