• Served as the primary quality engineer on rapid development, early, and late stage space systems product programs • Generated value-added metrics that assessed the overall health of discrepancy reporting, and escapes across three sub-electrical engineering departments by collaborating with management across the three functional teams • Interfaced with government and military customers on delivery and inspection of space hardware being produced • Conducted root-cause-analysis investigations on hardware destined for flight hardware • Reviewed and approved engineering plans for engineering models, intended for flight-based hardware
In the summer prior to moving to Los Angeles in pursuit of my Masters, I had the privilege of serving my alma mater as an orientation staff leader. Here, I was given the opportunity to assist incoming freshmen along with their families in their transition to life at the University of California, Irvine. Along with this, I worked with a rotating team of other orientation staff leaders in assisting students during their transition as well.
As the film’s assistant commissioner, I assisted in the brokering of the following films with studios for public viewing on UC Irvine’s campus: Finding Dory, Ouija, and Jurassic Park. This while leading a group of twelve interns in the scouting of films for UC Irvine, along with managing events with turnouts in the upwards of 800 attendees.
- Plan and organize community-engagement events for over eighty mentors and incoming freshman students. - Introduce a pilot program to encourage mentor/mentee tutoring sessions for incoming freshman. -Maintained a close relationship with the university staff in regards to volunteer opportunities for freshman and pre-existing mentors within the program. - Aid in the application, and selection process of incoming freshman students.
- Completed a ten-week training on becoming a mentor for incoming first-generation college students at University of California, Irvine. -Worked closely with other mentors on consolidating campus resources for incoming freshman students. -Collaborated with other mentors on ways to effectively mentor incoming students from various backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses.
The Burnt Group encompasses all of the following Irvine-based establishments: Burnt Truck, BurntZilla, DogZilla, and Burntzilla Catering. Working in the marketing department, I assisted the Social Media & Marketing Director in launching a new campaign known as “BurntLifestyle”. This was a pilot program that focuses on the marketing of Burnt Group's brands. - Worked closely with business leaders on developing brand awareness.
During my time as an intern, I worked alongside a group of interns and commissioners in hopes of obtaining advance movie screenings for UCI's student body. In addition, I was tasked to establish and foster relationships with local businesses, and movie studios such as Warner Brothers, Walt-Disney, and Fox in an effort to secure screenings for students at the University of California, Irvine.
