Whilst Covid brought a global downturn to the sales industry I joined CCL Group as Head of Hospitality and quickly thrived in a environment of uncertainty showcasing the ability to remain focused and achieve all the key milestones, I played a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless culinary and guest experience for our customers. I resigned the position in October 2023 to move to Dubai with family to continue perusing a new exciting career.
My Role as a Recruitment Consultant within Engie/Fabricom was to service the Temporary and Permanent vacancies, ENGIE UK being a global Facilities Management Company My main responsibility was to support the Facilities Management side of the business recruiting from Director level, white collar through to Blue Collar. Throughout my time I was responsible for approximately 35 hires and managing 150 runners at any one time.
In my role I was responsible for servicing a wide variety of existing clients across the commercial, engineering and automotive sectors. Responsible for the full recruitment of temp consultants of all levels to my clients, managing an ongoing team of approximately 50 runners across my client base at any one time.
My role involves robust cradle to grave management of all candidates selected from global recruitment campaigns for visa and mobilization requirements. Each nationality of candidate brings a different set of procedures and policies to adhere to, my role is to be accountable for each individual to ensure timely, effective mobilization into each clients operation whilst ensuring this is in line with pressing business unit financial targets. My role starts when the candidate has accepted a position with a major petrochemical client based in Saudi Arabia. I co-ordinate with the Fircroft team, candidate and client to ensure swift and coordinated mobilisation to country to commence work. This role requires a certain level of problem solving as the process to mobilise someone to Saudi Arabia can sometimes come with its own unique challenges, I regularly need to come up with solutions where there is not one and develop new process around this.
